- 多看点书：对于新手来说，理解如何平衡光圈、快门和ISO之间的关系获取正确的曝光是一件很重要的事情。数码相机很容易剥夺人们对幕后一切的理解。但只有你理解了这一切才能成为一个好的摄影师。看一些在PS和数码摄影出现之前的书，可以帮助你更好的理解这一切。而对于摄影而言，里面能提到的东西，基本来说不会过时。
- 考虑参加摄影培训班
- 经验的地位是无可取代的：多拍，多思考，多使用手动模式。(对此我深有体会，我的一个朋友，尽管一直在用小数码，但是一直坚持使用手动模式，估测光比我还准，给他胶片也毫不怯场。)
- 别退缩
- 用文字记录下你拍摄时候的想法和点子
- 开一个摄影博客，在网上展示你的作品
- 在适当的时候填一台数码单反
- 试着去打打摄影的工
- 学习后期处理技术：这是一个很大的问题
- 心态放轻松，别把摄影太当回事
